Is It Time For A Career Transition? More Rewarding And Fulfilling?
Posted by: | Comments
Do you work full-time and feel unfilled and desire a more rewarding career?
If You Are Working Full-Time And Desire A More Rewarding Career:
Clarify – Where You Are Exactly & Your Passion….. Get clear on what you are passionate about and how you envision your most joyous life. Additionally, you must know exactly where you are currently as it relates to finances and time. I’ve seen individuals whom had great gifts jump in too fast only to fail for lack of clarity and awareness.
Determine A Plan For Moving Forward (business set up and marketing plan) – I have personally learned the hard way and now find it to be my purpose to support others using these experiences to gracefully move into fulfilling their purpose. Keep your excitement and your vision and also stay focused on creating a sound business through well thought out organization, systems, and business strategy. In many cases, I suggest maintaining your financial stability with your present job (unless you have a sound financial plan with savings to cover your expenditures for up to one year), while you “step-by-step” implement your business.
Find A Balance – Current Reality & Moving Into Desired Purpose…. (time/money) – In my years of coaching individuals on career matters, I have seen the practical matters of time and money as a key element in realizing their personal and professional desires and vision. When working full-time and looking to transition, obviously it is usually time that is the key variable in consideration. It is imperative that you think in advance about how to allocate your time consciously to maintain a higher energy and ease and flow in the process. When one is exhausted it is near impossible to realize the desired results.
Take Action – One Step At A Time (from a well-layed out plan) – The fun part! Start taking action one step at a time. However, I’ve come to realize through years of coaching that we as humans for the craziest reason tend to be afraid of our own success and/or due to esteem concerns to really “put ourselves out there.” SO – having someone to keep you focused on taking action is truly recommended! Rationalization, procrastination, and more easily can rear their head during the implementation process. Don’t get stuck in paralysis analysis either. :>
Transition Fully Into Passion / Purpose – The true realization of your greatest desires and fulfilling your purpose with joy, ease, and abundance. Focus on taking one step at a time (and being flexible to the changes that inevitably will arise during the process) and you will soon be on your way to the life you’ve always wanted!
How’s Your Business Plan for 2010?
Posted by: | CommentsAre you Excited for a Successful New Year?
Do you have a well thought out (clearly defined and written) business plan for the New Year? I’ve personally had a strange relationship with the “Business Plan” over the years. Writing up a plan the way I was told it needed to sound/look/be according to the banker, leasing company, Small Business Association, SCORE and so on. Not that their ideas were wrong it’s just that:
They weren’t me - didn’t know or understand my business nor did they truly get my passion, gifts, or how to be true to what I knew inside.
It has taken years for me to gain the clarity of my life purpose (business), own my value and what I have to offer, and clearly communicate to those whom could benefit what I have to offer. ALL these facets are a part of a sound business plan: your passion, value, offers.
It is from this clarity that concise inspired actions are determined – the other piece of the puzzle in your business plan.
Here’s some thoughts for you to consider:
- Is your business plan ready for your success in 2009?
- Does your business plan include: your passion, value, offers, clearly defined inspired actions, and business systems to support your intentions?
- Are your business systems all in place, fully functioning, and serving you and your clients well?
Here’s wishing you a joyous, prosperous, and fulfilling New Year!
